Desert Foothills Astronomy Club

Welcome to DFAC.

The Desert Foothills Astronomy Club serves as an educational resource for the north valley. We exist to promote the hobby of astronomy, and increase public awareness of light pollution issues. DFAC meets at Boulder Creek High School in Anthem on the last Wednesday of each month, September through May inclusive. Our BCHS Lecture Series features presentations by professional and amateur astronomers. With a prime focus on member collaboration and education, DFAC hosts private observing sessions at north valley venues for the purpose of sharing expertise in instrument use, observing techniques, and general astronomical knowledge. If you're looking for an organization that can help you become a better astronomer, you've come to the right place. Whatever your level of experience, we welcome all who share our love of the night sky.

DFAC is a member organization of the International Dark-Sky Association and the Astronomical League.
